Cliff Hardy has practiced law in Bessemer for over 45 years. He is a native of Fairfield, Alabama and feels part of the community in Bessemer and Fairfield. He cares about his clients and is focused on listening to their situation and providing the best advice, counsel and possible representation in their various circumstances. He is passionate about representing the underdog and those who feel wronged or have a difficult situation with which they are dealing and need legal help.
From representing clients whose homes have been flooded by corporate negligence, to Social Security Disability claims, workers compensation, hunting accidents, personal injury and issues relating to family wills and estates.
Examples of our work with clients
- Successful representation of over 350 families whose homes were destroyed by cracking and dusting from a large concrete manufacturer.
- Successful outcome in representation of 35 low income families whose homes were flooded by a nearby creek. The town association had knowledge of prior floods but failed to inform and protect the families.
- Local workman was injured in the mines and employer denied responsibility for workmen’s compensation claims. Our representation of this individual led to a very favorable settlement on behalf of the mine worker.
- Representing clients who have been injured in a wreck. One example of a past case involved a client that had a serious injury that had been overlooked by the doctor in ER but later found to be very serious – even life threatening.
- One particular client had problems following eye surgery. He was found to have threads still remaining in the eye. The new ophthalmologist who found the threads was able to pull them out, saving his vision in that eye.
